AMF and ACPR add 26 unauthorised Forex and crypto-derivative sites to their blacklists
France's two financial regulators have again expanded their blacklists of websites offering investments to the public without authorization. In a joint statement published on 9 July 2026, the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) and the Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution (ACPR) named a further set of operators marketing unregulated foreign exchange (Forex) investments and derivative products whose underlying asset is crypto. If you invest in crypto derivatives or currency products from France, this is a list worth checking before you deposit anything.
What the AMF and ACPR warning on unauthorized crypto and forex operators actually says
The two authorities state that they regularly update their blacklists of websites identified as offering Forex investments and derivative products backed by crypto-assets without being authorized to do so. The stated objective is the protection of retail savers. Importantly, the regulators are describing an authorization failure: these operators are offering the products in France without holding the permissions required to do so. The AMF and ACPR publish the lists under scam prevention headings, but the press release itself does not set out findings about any individual operator beyond the absence of authorization.
One qualification in the release deserves emphasis. The authorities caution that although these lists are updated frequently, they are not intended to be exhaustive, because new unauthorized operators appear regularly. A website's absence from the blacklist is therefore not evidence that it is authorized. That distinction matters, and it is the reason the regulators point savers toward the positive registers rather than treating the blacklist as the test.
How many unauthorized sites have the AMF and ACPR listed in 2026?
Since the beginning of 2026, the AMF and the ACPR have added 31 unauthorized sites in the Forex category and 26 sites in the crypto-asset derivatives category. Of those, 15 Forex sites and 11 crypto-asset derivative sites were added during the second quarter. The names published in this release are the operators added over the preceding three months.
This is not the first such action this year. We covered an earlier round of AMF blacklisting of unauthorized crypto platforms in France, and the pattern of quarterly additions has continued since.

How do you check whether a provider is authorized in France?
Rather than relying on the blacklist alone, the regulators direct savers to the positive registers. To verify that an intermediary offering you financial products or services is permitted to operate in France, the release points to three sources:
- The register of authorized investment services providers, REGAFI, at regafi.fr.
- The register of intermediaries authorized in the financial investment adviser (CIF) category, ORIAS, at orias.fr.
- The list of crowdfunding services providers (PSFP), available on the AMF website.
If the intermediary does not appear on any of those registers, the AMF and ACPR strongly advise against responding to its solicitations. Their stated reasoning is that such an operator could be in breach of the applicable legislation and may not observe the basic rules on investor protection, proper disclosure, or the handling of complaints.
Where can you get help if you have already been approached?
The release lists three points of contact. The AMF can be reached through its website at amf-france.org, or by calling AMF Epargne Info Service on +33 (0)1 53 45 62 00, Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 12:30, charged at the price of a local call. ABE Infoservice, which covers insurance, banking and savings topics, is at abe-infoservice.fr or on 34 14, Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 18:00, at no premium rate. The ACPR can be reached at acpr.banque-france.fr.
From a record-keeping perspective, it is worth preserving your own transaction history independently of any platform you use. Where a provider turns out to be operating without authorization, access to statements and export tools can become unreliable, and a complete local record of deposits, withdrawals and trades is what allows you to reconstruct your position later.
